What is the meaning of the name angel?

The word angel has different meanings. When it is derived from the ancient Egyptian word „ang“, it means „life“. „El“ signifies „light of God“. So the word angel can have the meaning „those who live in the divine light“. When it is derived from the Greek „angelos“, it means „messenger of the divine“.



What are angels created from?

Angels are composed of pure light, quanta or photons – which is the modern denotation for this substance. They are pure energy which represents in its quality differentiable information according to the angel's mission.

Angels can assume form however they only do this when it is useful for a human being in terms of divine providence. Normally they operate via the universal language: Sounds, colours, patterns, dreams, inspirations, hints. They appear in a form which the addressed human being is able to understand. So they can draw a human being into the life of their protégé so that this one will bring the necessary message.



What is the mission of angels?

They are messengers and intermediaries being beyond the illusion of matter-space-time.



How can an angel's working be recognized?

In the creation they work constantly and in the moment they are called, if the human being is anxiously and openheartedly trying to live in accord with the divine order and the divine laws which are concretely valid on the earth as its implementation.



Are there hierarchies of angels?

Yes and no. The angel's realm beyond matter-space-time is a continuum. There is likewise a partitioning according to the level of vibration and the mission of groups of angels. There are eight divine hierarchies according to the Kabbalah: Seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels and – additionally – angels. In each case a prince of angels reigns over the total host.



What are archangels?

Archangels are the „chiefs“ of the hosts of angels. They are the most important angels for humanity whereas the „simple“ angel correspond to the serving people for they provide direct service to the human beings, they are closest to them and supply them with energy.



What is a guardian angel?

This is the designation of a quite personal kind of a serving angel. A guardian angel's mission is to protect and to sheperd a physical being during his/her complete incarnation and to gently help him/her to recognize his/her life's mission and to fulfill it.
The guardian angel can become a human being's best friend because the more often he is called the stronger and the clearer the communication becomes.



Does  every human being have a guardian angel?

Yes. Every human being on the earth whose soul's journey began here has one or more guardian angels.
No. An incarnated angel does not need a guardian angel as he/she can communicate directly with the siblings of his homeland.



Can a deceased human being be or become a guardian angel?

Yes. A human being whose soul's homeland is the world of angels can become a guardian angel, when he/she had finished his/her soul's mission and so desires.
No. A human being whose soul's journey began on earth, however, can work as an spiritual assistent. Unlike a guardian angel who accompanies during a whole life time, spiritual assistants take over tasks which are limited as to time and topic and thus often change during one incarnation.



Can angels incarnate on earth?

Yes, they enter through the gate of Acrcturus which is the threshold between the realm of the angels and the world of the human beings and receive the first individual physical clothing, the isolated soul, through the intermediary Melchisedek.



Does an angel have a free will?

No. In the realm of the angels as a continuum in the oneness with God His will works absolutely and angels are the „compliers of this will“.
When an angel is incarnated there are two possibilities:

that the angel does not take with him the free will as a gift or as equipment, respectively. This means that his mission implies to anchor the light on the earth and keep it only by his presence. In this case the angel does not go into oblivion and does not begin a cycle of incarnation. Usually these kind of incarnations only take place in times of a system's crisis;

that the angel takes with him the free will as a gift or as equipment, repectively. This means that the mission implies to basically bring light of healing to the earth. Through this kind of becoming human the angel is part of humanity's community of fate, falls into oblivion and incarnates so many times until his mission is fulfilled, normally it ends with the ascension to the next level of experience.

How does the Kabbalah describe the angelic choirs and their princes?

The angelic choir of the seraphim is subordinate to Metatron, the „prince of faces“. These are also called the burning ones. Metatron develops the free will and cleanses of the sin which is the traditional denotation for the human being's alleged separation from God thus sin simply means falling into oblivion of what I really am and is never a guilt. Metatron helps the human beings to work with their flaws and deficiencies by eliminating the discrepancies between  human and divine will. His mission consists in cleansing. He possesses the necessary energy to help the human being to realize and to accept his earthly fate. For this purpose he can illuminate the spirit of those who so wish.

The angelic choir of the cherubim is subordinate to Raziel,  „God's messenger“.
He passes on wisdom and love to the human beings. He creates a favourable ambience in which the human being's fate can be expressed and a favourable environment for spiritual development. He confers the great spiritual gifts: Words of peace, the interpretation, healing, miracles, persuasion, distinction of spirit, the gift of the tongue, prophecy.

The angelic choir of the thrones is subordinate to Zafkiel, „God's vision“.
He brings the light to the human beings with the help of which he can perceive his ordeals, which line his path of life. He also lets him have ordeals, when he considers it necessary for the human being to be able to grow and to learn. He helps the human being to understand the reason of the ordeal and to overcome their suffering.

The angelic choir of the dominions is subordinate to Zadkiel, „God's justice“ or also „God's benevolence“.
He brings faith in life, optimism and joy to the human beings. He supports in transformation and teaches forgiveness. He helps the human beings to develop their opinions, their joy and their devotion and to spread grace. He strengthens the human being's faith into himself, into others and – not least – into God.

The angelic choir of the virtues is subordinate to Camael,  „God's implacability“.
He brings the energy to the human beings, with the help of which he can perceive his true identity. He confers the necessary courage to endure ordeals and helps to build up justice. He helps the human being to become a „knight in shining armour“, thereby fear is linked with the future and guilt with the past so that they become releasable.

The angelic choir of the powers is subordinate to Michael,  „God's image“ or also „who is like God“ and his answer is „God is unequalled“.
He brings the capacity to govern to the human beings. He assists him when he wants to release himself from external conditions. He represents the qualities of self-confidence and protection, of will and plan as well as power. He helps the human beings to find their true identity and to develop their own free will.

He encourages the human beings to form romantic attachments. He awakens the appreciation of beauty in the world and contributes in opening the seven chacras of the human body.

He stimulates the sense of perception and contributes in uniting the paths of mysticism and science, of matter and spirituality. He assists the human beings in their search for knowledge and truth. He brings healing and concentration, the perception of the truth and an inner sight. He helps to distinguish good from bad.
